The World’s Most Powerful Asus Laptop

In last April 2009 AsusTek Computer, Inc released the new powerful Asus laptop, W90Vp. The W90Vp is the newest member o the Republic of Gamers (ROG) family and specifically designed to meet gamers’ needs. With an introductory MSRP of $2,499 USD, this ROG Asus laptop is ready to replace your desktop and offers high performance for your mobile gaming activity.

Body design

The new Asus laptop W90Vp has 17.4 in x 12.9 in x 2.5 in size and 16 pounds weight (incl. AC adapter). The 18.4″ LCD display is Full  High Definition (1920 x 1080) with a golden aspect ratio of 16:9. The lid body is covered by brushed aluminium while the inside is a mix of black brushed metal and glossy black plastic. The matte-black keyboard presented in generic and there is still a full number pad. The flashiest bits are the two touch-sensitive control panels–one above the keyboard, one to the left. Control for music and DVD media placed in the left side and on the other has controls for muting audio, adjusting screen brightness, switching off the touch pad and changing preset performance modes: Standard, Power Save, and Overclock.

Performance

The Asus laptop W90Vp has Intel® Quad^TM Core Processor Q9000 : 2.00 GHz with Mobile Intel® X38 Express Chipset and 3 x SO-DIMM mainboard design and a maximum RAM capacity of 6GB of DDR2-800 memory. The graphical performance reached score 15,000 of 3DMark (2006), powered by ATI Mobility Radeon^TM HD 4870 x2 512M DDR3 VRAM (Cross Fire).

In Audio this Asus laptop is equipped with 5 speakers and an additional integrated subwoofer Altec Lansing speakers and supported with the 2nd generation Dolby^TM Home Theater for symphonic audio reproduction.
