Reviewing Casio Digital Cameras

Reviewed by Bram P

For a long time, people have associated CASIO with watches and calculators and never with cameras. I know a few countries where it is simply associated with musical instruments especially musical keyboards. Only a handful of people are aware of its penetration into the digital camera industry. Having taken the first world countries by storm, this brand of cameras is now penetration international markets, especially 3rd world countries. Essentially this has seen an increase in demand for cheap digital camera items.

One thing I love about these cameras that they are quite affordable and very reliable. It does not come as a surprise therefore to see more and more people across the world buying this brand of digital cameras.

Canon EOS digital cameras may not have been around that long, but the company that makes them has been a leader in the production of cameras for many, many years. The Canon company was founded in Japan in 1933.

The name Canon was chosen because it implies precision. The new Canon EOS digital cameras are very precise and some of the best on the market today. The only problem that most consumers will encounter will be whether to choose the Rebel XT or the EOS 20D.

Many things are alike when dealing with these two types of the Canon EOS digital camera. Both cameras have flash exposure compensation which basically means that the operator can adjust the exposure by telling the camera to allow more or less light in.

If you’re wondering how you can participate in the online home video revolution but don’t know where to look for a new high-definition (HD) video camera, you’re not alone. This article takes a close look at three convenient and popular pocket HD video cameras: Kodak’s Zi6, Aiptek’s A-HD+, and Flip Video’s MinoHD. But first, let’s look at the new high-definition technology and how it differs from the older video standards.

High definition represents the newer generation of digital video which captures moving images at 720p or 1080p. Traditional and web-based media is now in the process of switching over from older video standards (such as DVD’s screen resolution of 480p) to HD. Because of the mainstreaming of HD technology, high-definition video cameras (particularly the less costly pocket versions) are becoming increasingly popular. Below, we’ll take a look at three fun and affordable HD pocket video cameras.

video-surveillance-signAuto accidents are rapidly increasing in numbers and pretty much common these days in United States highways. This increasing number of accidents is mainly due to neglecting the speed limit. It is high time that the police must take action against exceeding the speed limits. The use of digital video surveillance is one very successful method of practically implementing speed limit barriers. Not only that today US police is finding it very reliable to use digital video surveillance cameras to find evidence of robberies and other criminal activities.

While many of us want a standalone digital camera to capture the best photos, many are quite happy with what a camera phone offers. Increasingly, cell phones are providing some pretty impressive photographic results. Sensors are improving, as are lenses, and features are being added that give users the basics needed for good image quality.

When selecting a cell phone to act as a camera, there are of course quite a number of things to consider. The sensor, the lens, features such as optical zoom, autofocus, built-in flash, image stabilization, and a few shooting modes are certainly things to consider.  However, the first step is to think a little bit about the physical attributes of the phone itself.  You’ll want a cell phone that acts and handles like a camera, one that has some of the basic physical attributes that make it easy and convenient to use in such a manner.
