Finding the right Computer

Like most people, you probably have an idea of how to find suitable computer for you. The wide range of configurations, and the seemingly constant arrival of new and faster technology all make for a difficult decision. To help you find the right computer for you, we’ve outlined the four basic types of PC use
General Purpose
Computer only use for general and common work like typing, listen MP3 music , edit vacation photos, internet and other working without high performance requirement. The computer activities most common to families, students, and the general purpose PC ( personal computer ) user.
The dual core CPU ( central processing unit ) and at least 1 GB of memory to make Windows Vista run smoothly and a 128MB graphics card to get the Aero effects with little to no performance loss.

Multi Media Purpose
Today most people also using their computer for media center functionality entertainment like watching movies. Now we can putting PC in the living room, which is why we’re glad we’re to see so many ultra-small-form-factor designs such as Apple’s Mac Mini and Shuttle’s XPC X200M. All you have to do just set output video and audio from your PC to your TV and audio receiver.

Office Purpose
In this purpose graphics are less of a concern for most businesses, unless a design company. You will only need a system with enough power for multitasking your daily office and save the money from the graphics and put it into a larger flat-panel display and a better warranty. Microsoft recommends at least 512MB of system memory and a DirectX 9-capable graphics card, and it ups the specs to 1GB of RAM and at least 128MB of independent video memory for Vista Home Premium with Aero. Otherwise an iMac also recommended.

Power Computer
This computer usually use for high performance multitasking of graphics design and game software. Usually required for editing moving pictures, 3D graphics and 3D gaming program. The high performance graphics card will be required to support those activities.
