Kindle Reader Coming for Apple Mac

posted by Bram P

kindle-dxSince Microsoft announced the Windows 7 launch last week, Amazon also announced to release a Kindle reader for that operating system. Amazon spokesperson later confirmed to Fast Company that Amazon also intends to release software for Mac OS X too.

As the Kindle platform has settled, Amazon has intended to take it beyond its digital book reader hardware and onto other devices. In March, the company has launched its Kindle reader for the iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store. The software allows users to access their content and sync what page they were last on to a number of devices.

Applying Kindle reader to Windows operating system and Mac OS X will put Amazon into the position of allowing its Kindle customers the option to read anywhere they want, browse books from whichever location they find most appealing, and keep everything synced, all without the use of a bookmark.
