Lenovo laptop Classmate+ for Students

On Wednesday, Lenovo and Intel Corporation announced the Lenovo laptop Classmate+, a purpose-built laptop designed for kids in the classroom to improve learning for students in grades K-8.
“As the fastest-growing PC company in education, we are committed to creating education solutions that improve schools’ efficiency, as well as leading initiatives to evaluate how technology can measurably improve learning outcomes,” said Michael Schmedlen, director of Worldwide Education, Lenovo. “Our work with Intel to offer products like the Lenovo Classmate+ PC will create more opportunities for K-8 administrators, teachers and students to realize the benefits of technology-enriched 1:1 learning experiences.”
Its not like other Lenovo laptop, the new Lenovo laptop Classmate+ is basically an Intel Classmate, branded with the Lenovo name and given the “+” symbol with a better processor installed in for good measure. The Lenovo laptop Classmate+ featured with drop-resistant exteriors and spill-resistant keyboards.
This new Lenovo laptop Classmate+ equipped with an Intel® Atom™ N570 processor, 1GB RAM, Ethernet and WiFi Internet connectivity, Windows 7 operating system and high-capacity storage up to 250 GB or solid state drive options. It also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 10.1 inch LED backlit screen, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 RJ-45 LAN, audio jacks, VGA and a 4-in-1 card reader to support viewing multimedia.
As expected the Lenovo laptop Classmate+ won’t be sold on Lenovo’s website for individual purchase, but instead sold in bulk to school and other educations facilities around the world. . Lenovo is planning its first shipment this spring of 158,000 units to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
