I recently saw mention of a new prepaid deal that is actually better value than most contracts. Tracfone has recently launched their Straight Talk offer available in selected cities and on their website straighttalk.com. They offer two plans: $30 for 1000 minutes, 1000 texts (or multimedia messages) and 30mb of data or $45 for unlimited calling and texting. Both plans offer free 411 calls and international calls to more than a hundred countries. This service runs on the Verizon network and coverage is excellent.
I have Straight Talk and decided to go with the $30 plan for 1000 minutes and 1000 texts which also include free 411 calls and 30mb of data. It’s really a terrific deal and the sound qulaity is awesome. Prepaid is the only way to go!
